The LightsToStill Campaign is an annual initiative where people are encouraged to set their Christmas Lights to static or still mode on Dec.23rd to accommodate individuals with photosensitivity, epilepsy, migraines, autism and, vestibular disorders.
The Campaign was originally created by a caring Australian grandmother so her grandson and others affected by flashing lights could safely enjoy holiday lights displays for just one night. Flashing or flickering lights, particularly those with rapid contrast changes may trigger seizures for those with Photosensitive Epilepsy, and cause discomfort, headaches and disorientation for many others.
