Hi , my name is Lorrie Forseth 👋
• i was born and raised in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada ( born on Oct 1oth at VGHospital ).
My birthday coincides with world mental health day Oct . 10th , homelessness action week and Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend , which all happen the first or second week in October.
• i am a proud mom of 2 daughter's, both of them were born in Metro Vancouver ( both born at BGH)
• i am a grade 12 Graduate Port Moody Sr. Secondary
• i am a post secondary Early Childhood Education Assistant Graduate - grateful to the amazing folks at Canucks Family Educate Center (cfec) for helping others including myself , achieve this accomplishment and dream
• Helper/runner @ daycare
• i am a caregiver voice in the Epilepsy community. My daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy at age 8 after having 2 seizures . i raise awareness for her and others.
*Note: my advocacy is volunteer, i don't get paid for stories i write or interviews i do . truly grateful for every opportunity to raise awareness when asked :)
• i am a Vancouver Canucks 🏒, Vancouver Canadians ⚾️ , BC Lions 🏈 , Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS) ⚽️ sports fan ( the above was just to name a few .)
• i enjoy different types of music , from artists such as Pitbull, Enrique iglesias , Mariah Carey, Sarah Mclaughlin , Ricky Martin , Lady Gaga, Josh Groban , P!nk, Adam Lambert , insync, Keith Urban , Bif Naked, Gwen Stefani , Blake Shelton, Michael Buble , Michael Jackson , Julio Iglesias Jr. , Julio iglesias, Brian McKnight, Skylar Astin , Rachel Platten , Cher , Barbara Streisand.
Those are just to name a few .

The reason i am passionate about Epilepsy Awareness is because my daughter takes medication & fights it everyday , so i fight right along beside her . No family should feel alone like i did when she was diagnosed , the not knowing , the medication changes , the tests , the hospital visits & so much more . i will advocate for my family + yours !
