Invisible isn't Invincible
- Aime Phillips Story

A little about Aime Phillips;
Many of you know her as @alove_1980 , i personally called her Jeanie for the longest time, as i thought that was her name, haha duh me!
Aime is an amazing mom of 2 young men, another fierce Epilepsy advocate that i get to share a story about, oh! also a podcaster ( you'll learn about that soon enough ) .
Aime journey started with many ups and downs , she found herself navigating obstacles and finding encouragement reading stories similar to her own. Aime was 1st diagnosed at the age of 28 in 2008, (a reminder: a seizure can happen any time, any where, and at any age), she is a single parent and the seizures came out of nowhere. Through the years, Aime has had many types of seizures ( fact: there are over 40 different types), and she has been perscribed many different types of anti-seizure meds. In 2017 Aime got the chance to see a Epiologist and had her meds reduced. Then in 2019, Aime received a VNS implant that significantly reduced her seizures. That's fricking awesome, if u ask me! but no one did so, let's continue....
Unfortunately, Aime tells me , in 2021 she had Status Epilepticus which caused her to have amnesia and brought back tonic-clonic seizures.
After Aime had a stroke she found herself seizure free for approximately 8 months , she found it to be a peaceful time and she could get back in to her routine. Even after seizures returned in 2022, Aime was still able to work and be happy .
Now let's talk about this Podcast:
